FRENCH ST. MARTIN & BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS Itinerary

Day 1: Saturday

Embark your yacht, your place of pamper for your 7-day cruise around the French St. Martin Island and British Virgin Islands, at the Marina Fort Luis in Marigot at 18h00 (6pm). We’ll provide the welcome cocktail you just settle into your home on the waters of the Caribbean.

You’ll enjoy a decadent dinner on board and sail overnight to the British Virgin Islands (about 12 hours).

Day 2: Sunday (+/- 3 hours sailing)

You couldn’t ask for a better way to wake up than on your catamaran moored on the shores of Virgin Garda Sound on the British Virgin Islands. This is exactly how you’ll start day 2 of your International Voyage Premium British Virgin Islands cruise.

Have breakfast onboard and we’ll take you to The Baths – giant granite boulders smoothed over by thousands of years of lapping blue Caribbean waves. Swim amongst the hidden caves and tranquil pools at The Baths. Walk 15 minutes through paths that traverse dry brush vegetation and arrive at Devil’s Bay National Park, an unbelievably pristine turquoise beach.

Lunch aboard your catamaran then depart for Norman Island, approximately two hours sailing.

That night we’ll anchor at The Bight, a horseshoe shaped bay at the foot of native shrub-covered hills. For those who want to enjoy BVI nightlife try Willy-T, a famous floating bar.

Day 3: Monday (+/- 3 hours sailing)

Then next morning we’ll sail to the spectacular snorkeling spot at The Caves along Norman Island. Here you’ll swim amongst an unbelievable underwater world, and possibly find other treasures as Norman Island is known for its hidden pirate treasures.

Then we’ll sail one hour to Soper’s Hole, Tortola, for a bit of boutique shopping in equally elegant shops designed in classic British-Caribbean architectural style. WiFi hotspots are also available in the restaurants and cafes that dot this incredible cay.

We’ll depart midday to the secluded island of Jost Van Dyke. “Jost” island is only 4 miles long, yet it’s brimming with fabulous beaches, and even a natural Jacuzzi known as “Bubbly Pool”. You’ll enjoy White Bay with its powdery white sands so that you can kayak, swim, snorkel or simply relax on the feathery sand.

In late afternoon we’ll sail to the calm waters of Great Harbour Bay to enjoy dinner and a tranquil nights sleep.

Day 4: Tuesday (+/- 3 hours sailing)

Wake refreshed and enjoy breakfast as we set sail for Sandy Cay, a small, privately-owned island fringed with coconut trees, white sands and placid turquoise waters. Then we’ll sail a short trip to Sandy Spit. Don’t let the name fool you. This is a spectacular uninhabited dream island less than an acre in size, and you get to bath in its spectacular waters.

We set sail for Marina Cay. We hope you’re not board of impeccable beaches, stunning reefs, blue waters and matching skies because that’s what awaits you at Marina Cay. The island was once owned by Robb White who wrote about the island extensively in several books including, Privateer’s Bay (1939). The island is currently owned by Jose Cuervo®, so there’s no shortage of laid back, night time fun on this island.

We’ll serve you dinner aboard the catamaran and anchor for the night at Marina Cay.

Day 5: Wednesday

You’ll breakfast in Marina Cay and relax if you desire or experience some of the best reef snorkeling in the Caribbean.

Mid-morning we sail to Anegada Island, a coral atoll 19km long and less than 5 km wide, making a distinct wonder within the BVI. We anchor at Pomato Bay – a perfect point off of the island that offers more spectacular powdery beaches. Then we move onto and the Horse Shoe Reef, the largest coral reef in the BVI where you’ll be able to snorkel and swim with the splendor of the reef’s native flora and fauna. At the end of the day we’ll arrive at Setting Point on Anegada to moor.

Day 6: Thursday

After breakfast we depart for Virgin Gorda Sound, which offers not only a spectacular and calm beach, yet plenty of shopping, dining and WiFi. Depending on weather conditions, we’ll have lunch at Necker Island or Prickly Island. Head back into the waters for one last swim in the British Virgin Islands before crossing back to St Martin.

Day 7: Friday

By morning we’ll have arrived at Grand Case in St-Martin. At Grand Case you’ll enjoy breakfast onboard before we set sail to the Natural Reserve of Tintamarre Island. Tintamarre is 100 acres of flat, arid land that peaks out of the Caribbean blue. Along its edges you’ll be able to snorkel with spectacular-colored fish and cute sea turtles. Lunch on board, enjoy the always warm waters of St. Martin and beach comb before we head back to Grand Case.

Enjoy the evening in Grand Case on the French side of St. Martin, known for its numerous and quality French West Indies restaurants and charming architecture.

You’ll dine and sleep your last night in the calm waters of Grand Case.

Day 8: Saturday

Breakfast and disembarkation at 9h in Marina Fort Louis, in Marigot where there are plenty of hotel choices if you wish to stay an extra days in the paradise of French St. Martin.
