BORA BORA ISLANDS CRUISE DETAILS

Thought to have first been visited 4,000 years ago by residents from the Cook Islands, Tahiti is the largest of the French Polynesian islands. It’s comprised of about 118 spectacular islands nearly all with lush, interior lagoons protected by coral atolls.

This weeklong cruise offers you a relaxing and intimate experience with French Polynesia from Raiatea to Raiatea and visiting the famed Bora Bora in between. You’ll be amazed at the marine life as you swim and snorkel these incredible waters or simply lounge on the white-sand beaches. This cruise also offers you plenty optional excursions from pearl farms to archaeological sites to private island Polynesian-style barbecues.

This is a first-class luxury catamaran cruise that will leave you booking your next trip before this one ends.

Bora Bora Islands Itinerary

DAY 1: RAIATEA SATURDAY

We welcome you with lunch aboard the Lagoon 620 at noon at the pier in Uturoa on Raiatea Island. We’ll sail within Raiatea’s luscious lagoon from Tahaa to Motu TauTau so you’ll be able to immerse yourself in shallow, turquoise water beachcombing and snorkeling among coral.

DAY 2: RAIATEA SUNDAY

After breakfast we set sail for famous Bora Bora where we lunch in front of Motu Tapu, the most photographed part of the island – and for good reason. Its soft white sands emerge from clear turquoise waters like none other. You’ll swim, in these shallow waters with lush mountains in the backdrop. Dine and fall asleep under the stars of Bora Bora.

DAY 3: BORA BORA MONDAY

After breakfast you’ll have time to swim with the manta rays in Motu Tapu. Then we sail a short distance to Motu Taurere within Bora Bora to enjoy beachcombing and kayaks rides. Or, you’ll have the option to enjoy a Tahitian barbecue lunch on a private island, at extra cost. We spend the night aboard the Lagoon 62 at Matira Point, famous for its over-the-water cabanas.

DAY 4: BORA BORA – Raiatea TUESDAY

After the breakfast we head back to Raiatea Island where you’ll have the chance to spend the afternoon swimming among the coral, or, at extra cost, visit a black pearl farm. We spend the night anchored at Raiatea.

DAY 5: TAHAA WEDNESDAY

This morning you’ll have to chance to explore the Raiatea markets and shops in Uturoa. Or, at extra cost, take a guided tour of Taputapuatea Temple, a recently named UNESCO World Heritage Site, constructed in approximately 1000AD. This tour will also take you to the island’s botanic green valley and waterfalls. In the afternoon we take short sail to Motu Ceran, a spectacular, shallow water lagoon where you can snorkel, swim or simply relax in the sun.

DAY 6: HUAHINE THURSDAY

We depart early sailing 4 hours to Bourayne Bay on Huahine Island arriving around noon. Spend the rest of the day swimming, kayaking and snorkeling. You’ll have the option to dine in a local restaurant and be entertained by a traditional Polynesian show.

DAY 7: HUAHINE FRIDAY

After the breakfast, visit Fare Village on Huahine, a busting town with plenty of souvenir shopping. Or opt to witness the riches of the island – archeological sites that date to 700AD and visit a vanilla plantation. After the lunch we sail back to Raiatea Island where you can enjoy the sunset and dinner on the sacred island.

DAY 8: RAIATEA SATURDAY

Disembark the Lagoon 62 at 8.00 am at Uturoa, Raiatea.
